Have you ever had a dream of becoming a six-pack developer? Or ever looked in the mirror and wondered if you can have a six-pack body despite being an IT developer who must spend hours in front of computer?
Congratulations! You just found the right place!
Although I am by no means an expert on body fitness, but based on my own experience, I – as a developer, would like to help you figure out how to become what you have wondered.
The biggest problem of achieving a goal is doing it without any motivation, isn’t it?
So what first makes me wanted to have a six-pack body?
Yes, it is what most of you are thinking now – To impress girls. Silly hah …
Of course, you can also have the same reason to work out like me. But for those who don’t, I want to share with you my favorite quote motivation:
“Those who think they have not time to exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness” – Edward Stanley.
Sitting and coding for a very long time in front of computer does really have bad affects to your health.
Workout has a lot of benefits, and sometimes it’s fun too!
That’s me at the gym. Looks cool, right?
So try to figure out your own inspiration and let the game begin!
When to do and what to do?
The game has already begun. But wait, we are having a problem now.
What do you see in the picture above? Yes, It’s a whole working week of hell. Coding is not an easy job, it takes a lot of time and thinking.
However, even with such a busy job and stressful schedule, we still can manage to exercise.
The question is HOW.
As a university student and also an intern in Magenest, at first I had to balance the time between study and work efficiently and just then find out when to work out.
Exercise does not need to be time-consuming. Researches show that we only need 45 minutes a day, 3 days a week to be in good shape and healthier. There are many great Fitness programs and routines on the Internet that can fit your schedule. You can even do some of them at home instead of going to the gym.
But if you have the same goal as me – a six-pack and fitness body, you must seriously take fitness as a part of your time.
I spend about an hour a day, 5 days a week to train hard.
I did take time to study about fitness, build up my own workout schedule then strictly follow it.
Moreover, I also have some work-out buddies that makes working out much more effective and easier.
So Can an IT developer have six-pack body and become a six-pack developer?
Be decisive and as time goes by, the goal will be achieved.
Don’t mind asking me questions or sharing your own experience in the comment sections. I always greatly appreciate all of them.
